Bernoulli's Principle

Today our class talked about Bernoulli's Principle which explains the reason why lift happens to an airplane's wing: the pressure above the wing is lower and the speed is faster, and the pressure below the wing is higher and the speed is slower.

To test this theory, we created paper gliders using tissue paper, straws, and pipe cleaners. Everyone was able to successfully create a glider and take it home.
